Admission
Admission & Withdrawal
How the entrance test works, and what to do if you need to withdraw your child.
Entrance test
- A child must first be registered, followed by an entrance test.
- The entrance test is held on the last Saturday of February every year. It is a written examination in English, Hindi and Mathematics; each paper is one hour long.
- No specific syllabus is prescribed, but candidates must have sufficient knowledge of the subjects appropriate to the class below the one they seek admission to.
Withdrawal norms
- Parents wishing to withdraw their ward at the end of an academic year must give clear written notice by 30 March and obtain an acknowledgement from the school. The caution money deposit (if any) is refunded after deducting all dues.
- If the withdrawal notice is received after the stipulated date, the caution money deposit will be forfeited and all dues must be cleared separately.
- If a child is withdrawn in the middle of a term, all dues for the term must be cleared and no fee refund will be made.
- The Transfer Certificate is issued 15 days after receiving the application, subject to settlement of the child’s account in all respects.
- Disputes in all matters will be settled by arbitration within the jurisdiction.
